Product runs quiet. The first unit blew fuses, replacement product shipped immediately (Thanks AMAZON). Works as advertised.
Good for light use.
Handy product to have for long car trips. Worked great for powering one laptop but could not handle two laptops at one time. Alarm keep sounding when we tried, so had to limit the use. We bought it assuming that it was strong enough for both laptops. Disappointed in the results. For light usage, no problems at all.

Great for Laptop computers Really 300 Watts Max.
300 watts is 2.5 amps.It does what it says it will.It isn't made for power drills,vacuum cleaners,or air compressors.It's only for charging cell phones, laptops,and small electronics.As long as you know that when you buy it,you won't be disappointed.It's hard to drive around with your hood up,so unless you run wiring to your battery it only puts out 1.2 amps.Great for laptops,cell phones and small Electronics.If you want to run power drills, vacuum cleaners and air compressors,then this isn't the product you need.It's not really a 400 watt,it's really a 300 watt.If you need lots of power you need 800 or more watts.
Worked without issues
Bought this to keep a power-hungry gaming laptop in juice for an 8-hour car drive (I drove, the kids played...).
As a domestic-tranquility aide, it was priceless. Worked flawlessly with the Ford F-350 electrical system, and the laptop powersupply, for a bit over 15 hours total.
